Just watch and find a team to enjoy. Chances are they'll disappoint you more than you imagined they could.
Also, NBA is the one sport I find it's easiest to root for players. Although so many Yanks are plastics anyway, I have always found it easy to support a team in MLB/NFL/NHL/etc, but with the NBA it seems much easier to enjoy the game. That said, there are some true diehards, and people from Boston will always hate the Lakers, for instance. But anyway, just watch and see what you like. Or if you prefer we can pick out a truly terrible team for you to support, like the Clippers.

I’ve never had a really strong pull for a particular team compared to the Isles/Mets.
Probably didn’t help that those early ‘90s Knicks teams were fairly brutal to watch

I think it’s harder to follow a team in basketball (unless you’re from the city) because the roster changes every 5 seconds. You’re just rooting for a few random blokes in vests.

Bucks are better than last year.. the Bucks bench would legitimately have a chance at qualifying for the playoffs no other team has that.. Giannis looks to have developed his mid range shot..

Sixers. Get big injuries when on a roll, great at home and garbage away. Let you down in big games and get to quarters/semis and fall apart.
Excellent home grown talent and do a lot for local community.
