He's was in the last year of his B&HA contract and wouldn't sign the new deal offered. That's why not played for them as moving in the only option. Really astute business by Brighton to get £15 m for him . He will do a solid job for us and open up space for others while scoring a few as well.

For the reported 15 million I think he's a really solid signing in the naismith mould. Exactly what we need for the short term, he harrasses defenders and will get goals. Still need another striker but I'm happy with him.

Sensible signing. If this lad has got the right mentality, then his best years are still ahead of him.

Also think a more direct approach than Brighton will his suit game more, provided we can find the right balls into the channels.
