Can’t wait til he starts telling opposition fans and players that they’re “stupid English K-nig-hits”He’s French so we’re talking ‘Farting in ones general Direction’ level snide
Its good to get someone with some solid Premier League experience, a known quantity rather than an expensive foreign punt.I'm mildly hopeful of this lad. Would love playing for us sparks him.to raise his game and be even better.
But I feel we moght be pinning a lot on him especially we lose today.
It’s the hairline and tiny dark eyesWhy do I think of jonathan walters with Maupay?
So you're expecting us to attract and more importantly, afford top four players on the back of last season's showing? Yeah...Like the rest of the signings (Onana aside) he is a mid table at best player. Lampard and KT are setting the bar very low
I wish him well, but I reiterate: his height bothers me.
We lash balls up top regardless of who is there. He’s not a target man. Not his fault, but he isn’t.
Comfortably midtable has to be the target until the new stadium is built, given the finances. Once it opens, we should see a significant bump in revenue that will permit a little more ambition under both Prem and UEFA rules.Like the rest of the signings (Onana aside) he is a mid table at best player. Lampard and KT are setting the bar very low
Or they are being realistic, working within their means and setting up for a team that won't be in a relegation battle again? Gone are the days (for now) of James Rodriguez style players.Like the rest of the signings (Onana aside) he is a mid table at best player. Lampard and KT are setting the bar very low

This all day long. We are awful so why would the best players want to join us?So you're expecting us to attract and more importantly, afford top four players on the back of last season's showing? Yeah...
Its arguable that Maupay is an investment for next season. Hasn't ever really delivered in the Premier League, but a proven Championship goal machine.Or they are being realistic, working within their means and setting up for a team that won't be in a relegation battle again? We need stability, security and an identity. I think FL gets that and is working towards it.
