His goal stats at Brighton are superb, we're on to a bargain here boys....

Brighton would be happy to see us struggling without a striker.. absolutely no rush on their part to strengthen us.. very likely that they would drag it out as long as possible to weaken a rival.

I really don’t think it’s that. The guy was on the verge of signing for Forest weeks ago.

Doesn't even remotely suit the style of play we have. We are buying him because he is available. Terrifying how limited the people completing transfers are at this club.
Well he can't play upfront on his own given the general state of him so presumably there's another change in formation. 352 but where does Gray fit into that when DCL is back. Any way, it's not worth worrying about when a club spends over £40 million on McNeil and Maupay! Wowsers. Comedy gold.

He’s a very solid signing mate, in fact all of our signings are, I can’t see us loaning any of them out in 6 months or a year as we have seen with Alli & Gbamin.

We’re going to be an absolute face ache to play against, if we keep Gordon. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Gordon, Maupay, that’s a tough day at the office.

Maupay and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a very interesting combo, very different but complitimrntory attributes, both could be n excellent foil for the other. Maupays best goalscoring seasons came playing with another.

We’l love Maupay here he leaves it all on the pitch, battle his heart out and play at a really high tempo from the front.

Maupay - Calvert Lewin has a bit of the Jota/Jiminez feel to it.

£10m off there

I think people have slightly unrealistic standards with forwards. Not many forwards score twenty goals a season anymore and generally if they do they aren't joining a team that finished sixteenth last season. They are at a top six team. He's a good player works hard, has good technique I hope he's one of two but he's a good player. I think fans will like him quite Naismith-esque.
