2022/23 Neal Maupay

He's not always been this impotent.

He scored 1 in 4 at Brighton, versus 1 in 22 with us.

His goalscoring record is nearly 6 times worse for Everton than it was at Brighton.

Everton has broken him.

Brighton were creating chance after chance. Wouldnt be surprised if 6 more good chances a game than us.

it was common knowledge they needed better than him to finish the chances off.

Were seeing that this season at both clubs.

That was the worst performance I've ever seen from an Everton player tbh. Yes he's not at all helped by being played in that role, but every single aspect to his game was pathetic. Laughable, in fact. He wasn't even "putting himself about" which is what you'd probably tell a crap player to do if you had to pick them despite not really wanting to.

John Spencer 2023

Don‘t blame the player, he puts a shift in. The individuals responsible for signing him, along with Patterson, Godfrey, Mykolenk, Deli & a few others need to be sacked.

Maupay was crap. We all saw it yet Dyche kept him on until the 75 minute.

I am certain that Dyche is far better than Fat Frank but yesterday's defeat was all his.

My only consolation is that Maupay can never start again for EFC and the fact that DCL
was seen at the game with his sister may indicate a return as half-fit DCL would improve
our attacking by 100%.

He is absolutely awful but it just makes me laugh now how we continue to play him up front by himself surrounded by 6 foot plus centre halves. Two managers in a row have both tried this tactic on multiple occasions and to make matters worse we currently play long balls for him to challenge for. So not only is he a really poor player, but we also don't play to his strengths.

Couldn’t agree more , he was John Spencer levels of bad yesterday but the tactics were dreadful giving he absolutely no chance .

One of the worst to wear the shirt.

There’s not a single positive attribute in the lads locker… Small, slow, weak, disgraceful finisher, no passing range, no vision.

Just a big pile of utter dog dirt.
