Think he’s better then we saw today, was annoyed with him at times, don’t think he knows his teammates that well yet the positions they can take up in advanced positions, the balls they will look to make, where he needs to be, I thought he could have done more to provide an out ball when some were under pressure, especially for young Nathan. He’s better then today, which is why I was annoyed at times, but chalk it up to settling in. He has to score THAT chance.

He's a very intelligent striker. Pops up out of nowhere.
 


Even if he didn’t have a great game cause he’s off the pace, the team looked better for having an actual striker, and us not having to play 5 at the back
 
….thought he started well with a lovely little pass inside to set up a chance but he wasted a few good situations he was in. Still, we looked better with a conventional striker & I’m sure he’ll prove to be decent business.
He'll probably always be somewhat wasteful, but he also was never meant to be  the answer. The contract length says it all - he's here to do a job for us and get a big final payday on a Bosman. It's a good setup for all parties.
