He's not that type of striker though. He's a box player, knitting passes in and around it.

It's a problem Lampard has to fix because Gray and Gordon don't know how to thread a ball. May as well have played Rondon how we played today.

Not enough presence to be up there by himself. I think he could be useful for this season but probably not as a regular starter. He could potentially be a decent number 10 but we won't sacrifice having the 3 in midfield.

He struggled because we didn’t give him enough quality ball. When he gets the ball coming a little deep he generally offloads and hits the space behind. I would give him a go playing in a 3. I think he could be useful playing off DCL.
