Exactly the same yes. There's no difference between Maupay's time here and Richarlison's at Tottenham, and we know that Richo is quality. Look at their stats.
Things just haven't worked out for either of them.
Neal is the striker. If he isn’t a spectacular hold up player (which he isn’t) he needs to be putting them in the net. Those other players that missed chances offer much more to the team. There is debate- he is bad and was always bad and overpriced. Idc what he did at Brighton. He just sucks as a playerHe has been a poor signing but consistently scored 9, 10 a season at Brighton and scored 30 in the championship the year before he went to there.
This shambles is as much on Everton as him. Other players fluffed easier chances on Saturday.
All of his shots on goal seem to be half-arsed.
I felt the writing was on then wall from his debut against Liverpool, it's not like Jelavic, where he simply wasn't getting the chances, because our play was suited to Felaini. You could still see his striking instinct, when he decided to take a touch rather than just hit it first time against Liverpool, but revealed his lack of striking knowledge. Lukaku would of buried that chance, even Anichebe brought something to the team and out a few in the net. I don't understand why Simms didn't get a look in ahead of Maupay last season.Neal is the striker. If he isn’t a spectacular hold up player (which he isn’t) he needs to be putting them in the net. defo a crisis of confidence, he shoots straight at the keeper like a first time cyclist crashing into anyone they look at.All of his shots on goal seem to be half-arsed.
Like forever?defo a crisis of confidence, he shoots straight at the keeper like a first time cyclist crashing into anyone they look at.
when u see jack Harrison's goals, that is how u put your foot through it. both Danjuma and Harrison could play as false nines too, just give maupay an extended rest.
