If he's picked again today, I hope the away support get behind him as best they can, if you're going less boos and more cheers.

He was prolific in the championship with better goal scoring records than players we wanted this year.let’s be honest he is a below average Championship forward
Well if that was Maupay's reaction, at least he wouldn't hit anyone. What about some lad who has had such a bad day at work that he finally breaks and goes on a massive rampage, blasting anyone in sight?
And if he actually slots, more booze and more beers. If he's picked again today, I hope the away support get behind him as best they can, if you're going less boos and more cheers.
Two points arise out of your reply. Firstly, to attach any any significance to “players we wanted this year” is to damn with false praise. We are the club who bought Maupay for £15 million, to have “Everton wanted me” on your CV is hardly the gold standard for forwards. Secondly he scores approximately 1 in five games, while I fully accept that is across all games” I don’t think he could be described as prolific. Finally, his record in the Championship is neither here nor there as we are not in the Championship, but none of the above really matters, the big question is “does he improve the team “ and the answer to that question is “yes”; but not because he is a great player but because the ones we have are so poor. Unfortunately we have to cut our cloth etc.He was prolific in the championship with better goal scoring records than players we wanted this year.
Better goal scoring records than Piroe & Gyokeres in the championship.
He would still be average at best if Dyche changed his entire football mentality on how he wants his teams to play, and I don't see any evidence that Dyche is changing how he is setting us up just to get an average Maupay to play at his best. To be fair his link up play was better in last match. Yet he still slows attacks down.He was prolific in the championship with better goal scoring records than players we wanted this year.

What I'm saying is there isnt any evidence to suggest he's better than Maupay. Two points arise out of your reply. He's an average premier league striker, his past record as shown that.He would still be average at best if Dyche changed his entire football mentality on how he wants his teams to play, and I don't see any evidence that Dyche is changing how he is setting us up just to get an average Maupay to play at his best. Thankfully he isn’t, but we aren’t going to get rid of him if he is playing badly. I can’t fault him for his effort last week and hopefully for his own sake somebody that can use him wants him. The ire should be aimed at the board and not the players that put a shift in regardless of how short they are of the mark.If he's picked again today, I hope the away support get behind him as best they can, if you're going less boos and more cheers.
Bet your house he starts
