I've got a better chance of winning tonight's Euromillions than shifting Maupay.
No one is going to spend money on Maupay, I don’t believe we could give him away. Why would any club pay a wage to a striker who can’t strike. He is a fine example of all that has gone wrong with the club, £15 million spent, drain on wage bill for someone who can’t do the job he is meant to do. He gets game time, not because he has improved but because everything around him has been reduced to his level. Hopefully the new signings and those players returning from injury mean he is not required for the squad again, sits on his hands collecting his wages and finds his level at the end of his contract.
