2023/24 Neal Maupay

That's what I reckon.

He's done well at Brentford (zero pressure) and fairly well at Brighton (again, little pressure)

Comes into a notoriously difficult club with fans who have far higher expectations (even if that's deranged in itself) and he couldn't cope.

Everton is a hard place for a player to settle unless they're on fire from the off.

Disagree entirely tbh, I just think our fans demands a player who gives his all and isn't a Weasley little coward that maupay was.

He's only scored 3 goals for Brentford btw, not sure why people are saying he's doing well there, he won't even be playing much now toney is back anyway.

He's crap

It's brilliant but my favourite is still the Sandro Ramirez one where he kicks the ground instead of the ball and looks like a ghost motocross bike has clattered him from behind which is the only explanation for why he falls the way he does
Nah, for me that maupay miss is the worst miss ever. No pressure and an open goal (the defender is basically on the near post). You can't teach that level of crapness.

5 goals and 3 assists overall so he has done pretty well if he'd done that for Everton last year it would have been fine. He is crap though I agree with you.

His overall record at Brentford is good. (mainly when they were in the Championship, maybe that's a clue)

As for Toney being back, I still expect him to play the majority of games. Hopefully anyway, at least we have a chance of getting rid.

It was never gonna work here, he wasn’t good enough and our style would never suit him.
It’s quite telling that all our three strikers are pretty similar in style, and fit the Dyche Burnley mould.

Maupay and Keane, the perfect combination to relegate any team.

One calamity goal conceding expert and the other specialise in breaking down attacking moves.
