i remember the rumours in school about how it got cancelled in Australia and all the cast got killed off in the final episode. These were in the days before teh internets were mainstream so everyone just chose to believe it without actually checking.
 

Britain keeps these horrendous shows going.

Nobody watches them here and would have died out long ago if yous stopped buying it.
 
A few years ago in Stirling I used to occasionally play snooker at Spencers, a club owned by the manager of Stephen Hendry, before each World Championship he would practice intently for hours on a special table in the corner which had intense lighting to try and replicate the crucible tables, I was in there once with a workmate having a coffee watching TV, Hendry strolls over and asks if he can turn the TV over to watch neighbours as he times his break so he can watch it, at least he had a sense of humour and called himself a saddo, but hey he went on to win the world championship a few times on the back of it.
A sad sign of the times, the snooker club was subsequently demolished and is now an ALDI (Other supermarkets are available)
 

Watching the neighbours through their net curtains is it?

Wonders if furtive @roydo has considered sawdust in his eyes as a cure.
