Used to watch this all the time when it first started. I'd tape it at lunchtime on my VHS recorder so that I could watch it when I got home from work. Happy days.

They have had some stunners in it over the years but not seen it for over 10 years.
The sets were that cheap / bad that the walls moved when they shut the doors.
Don’t think it even lasted the full first series before it got binned.

I loved El Dorado,
It was ten years ahead of its time......a decade later half the buggers in England were buying places in Torrevieja in Spain or down t’ Algarve and living the El Dorado lifestyle.
Jesse Birdsall as Marcus was a brilliant soap villain.

They tried reviving it round about turn of t’ century but it was short lived
