Even if we replace Neill with Kilgallon or Senderos in a next few days/weeks, I still don't get it why we are selling Neill before his replacement is brought. We started to play some decent football and now we have only Heitinga to play against MCity as centre back, in a game where having Lucas "******" Neill would be quite an upgrade. Terrible move.

Seriously, I understand that a million for nothing is acceptable, but if that money isn't spent before the window closes I would be seriously worried about decision making at the club. Jagielka looking like a season absentee and Distin and Yobo are not exactly a good idea as a partnership. At least Heitinga and Neill looked like something to build from over the coming months. Is this season just viewed as one they take on the chin and try again next August?

You know nothing is going to happen.

We'll keep the money and wing playing Neville or Hibbert at centre half till Distin, Yobo and Jags are all ready....at the end of Febuary.

Piss poor IMO. Unless we've got someone else coming in. Liked Neill alot, better defender than Yobo has been this season.

Unless we sign someone today or tomorrow (which let's face it, isn't going to happen), we're going to be short at the back for the City game. Baffled here. Even if he wouldn't have got many games once Distin/Yobo are back, for the sake of £1m I'd rather keep him just to play in the games until then. In Moyes we trust etc., but really can't understand this one.
