Was thinking yesterday probably the first time in a very long time I've wondered about timing of the match with alcohol and all. A good TV spectable I'm sure, but Sunday afternoon and on bank holiday weekend... Normally I keep work and football very separate, but alcohol and a poor result in football is very evidenced for all manner of violence from the obvious fan on fan to the fan taking their frustrations out on home life.

I slept ok but now got that sick feeling in my stomach. I am a bad watcher of football at the best of times so today is gonna be horrible.

Just made contact with my Cov season ticket holding mate. Got back very late from Wembley with his 3 young kids.
Downbeat and will be for a few weeks until pre-season starts, but I can confirm they all woke up healthy and well and their house hasn’t fallen down. And he will still have to drag his arse to work on Tuesday.
