So good at her job that she was looking for a new one for about 3 years without anybody hiring her, managed to go from charity award winning pillar of the community to vilified in about 12 months and put her actual life on the line when she fought off Rey Mysterio when he went around 619ing the Everton board.

We're a business not a charity

That is what the law says as well. Charities are under the law in The Charities Act 2011, are supposed to be ran "independently".

Companies are ran as companies for the benefit of shareholders and other stakeholders. Per The Companies Act 2006 and the Club's articles of association.

It's people with this sort of mindset that people need to get away from

"Everton in the Community" is an independent charity for a reason and needs to stay that way and people need to stop confusing the business with that charity!

Even the most successful clubs seem to lean towards publicity stunts and heavily publicised charitable endeavours within their local community. Are they ALL getting it wrong?

They are when the club in question has spent the past THREE YEARS in relegation battles

They're also independent entities from each other.

For all the blame that Allardyce / Benitez / Lampard / Dyche and others have had to shoulder it's galling to know that it was a few photos of a local boxer at Finch Farm and the failure to repeatedly state the distinction between EFC and EITC was where it all went wrong.

I'm sure there is. Just that a lot of the comments (not necessarily singling you out) have come across as tough talking yet ultimately meaningless rhetoric completely devoid of any real substance.

It's like watching low grade managerial types argue about who'd be the best candidate on The Apprentice.

Not at all - I can express a different view or disagree with a stated opinion without insisting others share that take or think in a certain way.

If you believe you know what is what then fine. Personally I'm not sure you have the full insider knowledge of all aspects of Everton Football Club, it's employees and structure to definitely know what is what but opinions are like arseholes aren't they?
