I hope every other team mocks the hell out of us for this. I hope away fans chant about it, I hope people create gifs and videos ripping the piss out of us. I've just sent the following to the club and am awaiting their response:
"Whoever signed off on the new crest design should be sacked. I'm a graphic designer myself I would have been embarrassed to submit that as a finished piece of work unless it was only intended for a range of children's merchandise.
The money hemorrhaged to the PR firm responsible and the enviable dip in merchandise sales means this is a very costly mistake that a club like Everton can ill afford."

I agree it's not best, pretty ordinary tbh. Our last couple of crest designs haven't been too great either imho.
