The main arguments for this badge seem to be "NSNO and the laurels aren't that important" or "You're behind the times and against change"
I don't either one is a particular good argument. The reason everyone is complaining is because the badge is terrible and we weren't consulted about it.
I don't know whether the club will do anything about it though. I've got no idea how much it would cost them to create a new one now.

oh and i think some of the lads that made their own designs on here should get them put onto a few t shirts and start selling them give a % to the former players/everton in the community and they could also make a few quid to!

No objection to changing it but not for this 1.
I wasn't mad on the last 1 as I didn't like the way it had Everton on it.
Our motto should be there in a scroll underneath, the fact its in Latin is a indication of how long we've been around as its how things were done back then, I feel the laurels go hand in hand with that.
The Tower not mad on, hsd edited it to look better and also slimmed the shape of the shield.
My fav is the 80s one but prob cos of what it represents in terms of the good times. the one before that and simple E.F.C. cos they were what I grew up with.
I think that the fact that so many have hated this since it was 1st leaked & the club are making out it was designed after consulting fans is what's annoying folk. Nobody seems to know anyone at all that was consulted or that likes it, and in these days of social media its never been easier to seek opinion.
It will have been designed at great expense yet a fan would have done it just for the recognition, a season ticket at most, and a simple competition would've seen many designs, after all there'll be tons of better ones on minecraft and other games already. Its called utilising your fan base.
Just my two penneth, worth nowt, just like my £650 for tickets it seems.

im not a massive fan of the new badge but don't understand why such strong opposition. throughout the clubs history the badge has changed numerous times and at times has included the motto but also importantly at times it hasn't . why is it such a big deal now but wasn't in the 80's when the badge also didnt feature the motto
