We never regressed under Moyes though. Even the “stagnation” was at a very high level. Under Moyes we sold better players than Jota without going into alarming decline.
We finished 17th one season. It was a bad season with key absences but can't say how next season would have gone

Wolves only got promoted what 3 seasons ago , where they ended up finishing was still a decent result really considering. it wasn't a nightmare Anyway, they were never under threat of relegation. It was just a bit of a crap season. Only ended up a bit worse than ours under Carlo fantastico...

I think it says a lot about how he worked that Bill and Moyes are still very good friends after all these years.
Yeah but under Moyes at the time we had the right manager and right owner, not its just basket case

That's not got anything to do with it though, they were appointments made with the best intentions that didn't work out (Technically Allardyces did work out as he did what he was brought in to do).

Completely take Moyes out of the equation with what you were moaning about then to make things easier. You were moaning that we had a shortlist of two people (Nuno and Moyes) and that we "deserve" everything we get. There is ZERO indication that we had a list of two, hell, Nuno hasn't even got the job yet!

Listen if you want to make stuff up and then get angry about it then that's totally up to you, I find it a really weird thing to do. You are not the only one who does it either by the way, loads do and it does my head in.
Show me where i said we had a short list of 2 and deserve every thing we get.
By all means disagree. But don't say things i never said to make your point .
I firmly believe moyes was considered this time and last time. And you aren't going to convince me otherwise no matter what you say.

IF it is Nuno it is absolutely clear the club have now stopped aiming for the top and are setting there aims lower, probably at about 6th-10th with Europa being their League Win.....

Sad times to be an Evertonian. Vault me but we will not finish top 7 this coming season and we will not win a cup.... Another year the RS can put on their banner....

What? His second season? And we were never in danger, so it looks worse on paper than it was.

He was forced into selling Wayne Rooney, a generational talent, and we finished fourth! Still can’t believe we did that with that team.

My point was you can't call one disappointing season a regression. Who knows what would have happened next season. Wolves fans wanted him to stay we know that much.
