Woke up this morning to read on BBC website that Nuno on the verge of being announced as new manager.
12 hours later not one article relating to that story on same website. Only mention of Everton in the article on Moyes signing his 3 year deal. Have I missed the grand announcement or has the story gone cold?

Might as well get behind him though. 3 wins on the bounce at this club and it gets translated into a title charge. Be interesting to see what signings come out of the mix, we need young, hungry players. At least give him an opportunity to put his stamp on things.

As i said in the now locked Nuno Santo thread. His record is solid enough. If it is Santo as our manager, then i'm willing to give him a fair chance. I think it's ridiculous to write him off, before he even has one foot in the door.

I like how we went from signing one of the most accomplished managers in the game to a manager who had a deal collapse with crystal palace and we seized on the opportunity to enlist him feels very Everton that's for sure.
