Player Valuation: £50m
If we could fast forward 18 months, Nuno sacked, Ancelotti sacked, and "Carlo" in again, taking 11m a year and telling us what a great family club we are.

The clubs been a mess for 5 years, we need a full rebuild and a style implanted. Nuno not the man for a rebuild, he has no history of it.
BOOOOOOOSanto baby, win us some silverware,
Or beware,
Been an awful long time,
Santo baby,
So hurry up and sign Ronaldo.
I do find it mad how people can be so negative from the off. By all means express your doubts. I did myself with Carlo because I didn't think we were a good fit, but give the man a chance. He seems to be the one who impressed the most at the interview stage, so how can we judge? As i said in the now locked Nuno Santo thread. His record is solid enough. If it is Santo as our manager, then i'm willing to give him a fair chance. I think it's ridiculous to write him off, before he even has one foot in the door.
I like how we went from signing one of the most accomplished managers in the game to a manager who had a deal collapse with crystal palace and we seized on the opportunity to enlist him feels very Everton that's for sure.
Following the Tim Cahill path to Everton maybe it's a good signI like how we went from signing one of the most accomplished managers in the game to a manager who had a deal collapse with crystal palace and we seized on the opportunity to enlist him feels very Everton that's for sure.
The manager market confuses me, it’s as if we can only go out after managers who don’t have a current job.In the whole of World football the ONLY option was the recently quit-before-sacked Wolves manager.
The only option.
I thought it was because he wants to bring a mob of backroom staff with him and palace wernt having itSounds to me like he played Palace to get a better deal with us and they saw right through it and pulled out.
So cruel.Nah, it's just that it's such a boring appointment that nobody can be arsed doing an article on it
We like spending the money compensating our terrible managers when sacking them, not compensating other teams for taking their good ones. The manager market confuses me, it’s as if we can only go out after managers who don’t have a current job.
Yet RM came and just took Carlo even though he had a job.
