The apparently imminent appointment of Santos is yet another statement from our board that we are a ‘top half’ club, nothing more. Frustrating for the fans who think that we should be up there challenging, but the people running the club obviously believe differently.

He has qualified for Europe more times in the past 3 years than we have in the past 8.

You should be 6-8 at least with your squad and resources in my opinion and pushing for CL. He can do that, depends on signings and who makes them. Nuno has a massive back room team. Fosun are fairly ruthless, so sacked for poor season and new signings not working we think. Hope your new stadium doesn’t drain investment in squad.

Compare Everton and Wolves and you have actual squad depth....we have a mishmash of useless players we cant shift.

Well I’ve been involved in 1050 pages of exhaustive tactical talk, I’ve already been clearly opposed to his football style and said repeatedly I don’t think he’s the man for the job. At this stage I’ve got to the grim realisation that we’ll likely have another 18-24 months of crap football before he too is sacked and we’ll have to spend that time looking at his scruffy face pretending he’s playing with a great philosophy after we park 9-10 men behind the ball and try to counter attack the likes of Newcastle and Watford. At least Carlo had some charm whilst he was serving up crap.

I’ve seen Carlo with his “charisma “shut up the shop when 1-0 up to the worst sides in the league ,let’s be honest if Allardyce silva koeman had served up the crap Ancelotti give us we’d be rightly annoyed

I dont think he's done a poor job at any of his 4 managerial posts. Ok porto is either them or benfica. Finished 4th in spain with valencia behind the usual 3 of madrid barca and atletico. No shame in that.
Doesnt excite though. Found wolves as boring as Everton. Genuinely think he'll get the biggest shock of his life when he starts managing some of this lot.
Wasnt my choice. But i think he'll end up punching alex iwobi.
