Totally underwhelming choice. Why on earth should we go for a manager who has just been sacked by a club finishing thirteenth in the league and who's teams play football that is even more negative than those turned out by Saint Carlo.
I am expecting the worst next season but I hope I am totally wrong.

I think some need to temper their expectations. I have supported Everton for many years and experienced the good and the bad and even some success. The way some talk on here is like Everton should be winning everything every year. New news...we have won nothing in a generation. I would love to see a successful Everton but at the moment, and for a number of years, we are a mid-table team and to become a consistent challenger for honours will take a considerable amount of time and effort. I will however continue to support the team however good or bad because it is my team
