We've been through far, far worse. Sometimes adversity like this brings out the best in the club. Look at 04/05.

Whoever we get deserves our support, purely on the fact they want to actually be here - unlike our previous manager.

mate until BK fs off out the club I won’t agree! I feel for our fans you know we’ve gone through so much kak and and it’s just the same year in year out

Nah, this is the worst I've ever felt about Everton ever, eff off with all the bedwetting Shoite shouts. My first games as a young kid where with Gordon Lee the screaming skull as manager.
Mike Walkers fun wakaday blue depression laden ballbag era.
Joe Royal getting binned off at park foods hampers similarly to Nigel Martyn being giving the directions to Leeds as he also waited unceremoniously in Johnson's foyer for three hours.
Walter Smith at Boro away, ageing Gazza & Ginola in the team, 7 central defenders starting, 87 years old mark Hughes dithering out on the pitch on his Zimmer frame.
Bobby Brown Shoes at Sunderland away, and 2 sodding years of telling me how we had 72% possession in another ultimately boring defeat, "you lucky people" (Tommy Trinder)
Successive 4-0"s at the Shoite with Origi & Pickford's laurel & Hardy routine to boot.
Fat Sam's bolocks gravy train, 'I kept you up, what more do you want' ....we were safe after fat unsworths last game against West Spam, the bull-shoiting fraud
Tosun ,Walcott , iwobi, Delph, etc...
Silva the useless tit, but hey Moshri wanted him so let's give the guy the benefit, maybe he knows something we don't...

You know what, maybe he actually doesn't. The definition of Madness is often described as doing the same thing over & over and expecting different results.
I just see this Nuno bullcrap as just another turn on Everton's perpetual merry-go-round of misery... 'Roll up, Roll up, Roll up, the rides just carrying on still... Let's get behind this next appointee cos isn't that what we're supposed to do, is it.... Do one Everton you utter utter bastards....

Edit, no doubt some clown or secret agent of Goodison masquerading on these forums as a moderate impartial bellwiff will appear and shout me down telling us time to unite and get behind the new guy.

Go swivel!

mate come to goodison with me! I’m making my nuno get back to Portugal you tramp banner as we speak

Mixed feeling about nuno. I think there is a lot of harsh talk here. The fact that wolves had a underwhelming season is what he is being criticised for. But when he took them over they were miles off in the championship, they won the league playing the best footvall in their history, and came up and became a real threat to the second tier (ie us) in the premier league.
He is a decent manager choice for us…
BUT it’s basically it’s an easy choice and probably not a long term choice.
i can’t see him giving us a new system, bringing through youth and setting a stall out for the way we want to play for the next 15 years. I can’t see him becoming the fabric of the club, understanding the history. He will be gone in 3 years… if he isn’t playing well he’ll be sacked, if he does well he he will be off to a European elit clun
I think that is mostly fair,
But, if NES is appointed or any other manager I don't know how we can predict how long he will stay because that will depend on how well he does.

If next season we finish seventh as his teams have already done I think most would accept that as a good first step.
If he again finished seventh the following year then that would be less acceptable but maybe not sackable either.

Only time will tell how he settles, I think the recruitment of players will be key and how they are perceived and ironically maybe players who are sold, released or moved on although this may really be down to Brands.

I expect that NES already knows more about the Everton players than we ever will from his research before playing us over the last three seasons.
