Across the 3 seasons we have almost identical points and league finishes, having spent almost the same amount. We have sacked a manager in that time and have been a bit underwhelmed. Doing what he did at Wolves will not be enough for Nuno over the next 3 years.

Two out of those three seasons Wolves and Everton were drastically apart with Wolves ahead by 10 points and 5 league places in 2020 and Everton ahead by 14 points and 3 places in 2021

The only time we were close during those three seasons was in 2019 where it was Nuno's Wolves who edged us out and got the European place in 2019 with a difference of one place and 3 points.

I have decided to expect nothing from now on. If Everton actually do anything it will be a bonus. I will get behind any manager trying to improve us. The board needs a total over haul and professionals needed at every level. The reality is Carlo was a sticking plaster and he ripped it off because the gaping wound below is the central issue at Everton and has been for decades.
