and if not.....?
Would he have more offers? Utd maybe but RM/Juve have new managersConte is a long shot - because he will soon have more immediately attractive offers - but it's not outlandish. Few clubs in the world could potentially offer 11m a year. So, financially, Everton is, potentially, one of the best-paid jobs in football. Secondly, unlike Spurs - who are trying to cut costs - we have an owner who seems to want to spend big. I don't know whether or not that's a prudent approach, but it certainly makes the implausible more plausible. Finally, the taboo of managing Everton has been broken. Carlo Ancelotti broke that. Managers who wouldn't otherwise have thought twice of Everton as an option now know that the great Ancelotti took it on. That makes the status symbol types pause for thought...especially when 11m is being dangled in front of you and there are no better alternatives currently in play...
You can't mess about with this sort of thing.Respect to anyone who got in on the actual Rafael thread.
Will be entertaining when the NES haters who constantly affirm that he plays dire football start waxing lyrical about Rafael...
Steve Bruce has done just as well.At Newcastle he was not backed as a manager should be. He did very well with what he was given.

Oh I know, I'm just forecasting it.….to say you’re not keen on one doesn’t necessarily keen on the other.
