I think that’s who he meant that’s the only one I can think of. When City first got all that money an wanted a statement signing. Also I hope he realises Conte managed Chelsea at Goodison. So m am not sure he would need a map to know where Everton is. Unless he has a terrible memory.

Anyway do it blues Conte in. Really I don’t care anymore I just hope it’s not the fat Spanish one. Not even because he was Liverpool manager but because it’s the wrong choice. He went to China he still has a house in the Wirral so he might be pushing for a nice cushy job on his door step. Am not sure how much ambition the man has left.
We never get Benitez, been said before that Everton will never consider Benitez

The RS links and ofcource the small club, which years later he meant to say Small team

Benitez had a negative net spend as manager. Something like £10m profit in his time.

Bruce has spent over £65m net.
Who cares about net spend other than kopites?

I live in the North east and watch a lot of NUFC due to in laws supporting them. The football under both managers is dire. And bentiez spent considerably when he was manager, just cause they flogged some of them for more than bought for means nothing.

Short term good, long term pain. Not good for where Everton is right now

Everyone has their own opinion on it, it’s football, but I’m not convinced by this narrative of Conte personally.

The reality is that we’re in a bit of a mess, despite being fortunate enough to have an owner who continually chucks money at us and a stadium on the horizon (which I doubt any manager cares that much about unless it’s opening in the upcoming season with how short term football is these days).

We’ve not even had a run in Europe for many many years. One cup final in a long time.

The squad has potential.. but it needs significant work to compete.

From my point of view, apart from the very unlikely nightmare scenario of being relegated, the only way is up and we may as well bring in someone that won’t accept anything but 100%.

People moaned about Peter Beardsley, he turned out to be a great buy. Out of those managers that are available Rafael has won the most. We should give him the chance. Each season RS fans come to Goodison and add another year to there banner saying this many years since we last won anything. Just want us to win something. Cannot see us winning anything with Nuno or Howe or Potter. We should give Rafael 12 months contract and if he is no good he then goes. Make him earn a bigger contract.

He has won the most because he is the oldest candidate!

Honestly if you can't hate your rivals then what is the point?

The thing for me is that we gave Carlo Ancelotti 60m.

Can anybody really see Conte being happy with only 60m to spend?
