Amazing how about 50% of the people on here reckon everton are incompetent and couldn’t organise the proverbial in a brewery, while the other 50% have them pegged as Machiavellian geniuses with all these sneaky plans to manipulate the fanbase

I mean, come on, leaking stories and 'airing ideas' is hardly genius, when even our current heroes in Downing St and Westminster are so good at it. Whether it's us or someone else, this agenda to get betting money in, or to manipulate us is really annoying and difficult. I really hope our executive and boardroom are geniuses, but they need to demonstrate it ...once at least!

Benitez had a negative net spend as manager. Something like £10m profit in his time.

Bruce has spent over £65m net.
Also, just to add, in 6 transfer windows that Benitez had, he spent £153million.

Bruce has had 4 and spent £100million. So on course to spend the same amount after 6.

They are both crap managers who waste money. And we have done enough of that.

So true.

Possible reality -> they are an unremarkable and adequate organisation for the Prem.

The thing for me is that we gave Carlo Ancelotti 60m.

Can anybody really see Conte being happy with only 60m to spend?

A lot of dead wood has been shifted which could free up some wages, we have some players who could easily be sold for funds if deemed not good enough.. and who knows what we’d spend?

Carlo’s funds included some high quality, probably high wages players so he had his fair share for a single window too.

Esk crunches numbers every summer banging the “we’re skint” drum, and every summer we spend.

Ultimately Conte would never come unless given funds, and he probably wouldn’t consider us anyway with his stock being so high.

Source?

Not calling you a liar, just cant find anything anywhere.
Hot off the press:

Digne told French sports daily L’Equipe: “Marco Silva at Everton was very cool.

“There was constant playing around, a lot of on-the-ball tactics for a good hour and a half.

“It was very pleasant.”

lol lol

Imagine these jokers if Moyes really had came back? They'd be puking at the side of sand dunes and crying to their agents!

Could be around the same ( wasnt it around 65mil ?) plus any outs like Kean and hopefully 3/4 others plus there's a fair old chunk come off the wages .
Nothing would surprise me with Moshiri , he certainly backs whoever comes in.

We said the same with Carlo, I know I did, he hasnt come here to spend buttons and yet he only got 60m.

Sure, we could make sales, Kean for example, maybe a few others for peanuts, but you dont attract Conte by telling him he can have dough, just as soon as we shift some garbo.

Now if we had the money available from the start of the Moshiri years, we could attract almost anybody.
