Wait for the Euros final. Make the winning manager an offer he can't refuse. And buy a defender, midfielder and forward from the squad. Usmanov is richer than Abramovitch. It would make his hobby worthwhile.
Piece of cake ;)

Craziest managerial hunt I can recall us having, usually it’s been a set few managers to pick one from that are usually rather identical prospects.

After breaking the mould with Carlo, we are going anywhere in between a Eddie Howe or Antonio Conte

He certainly developed DCL and Tom Davies improved greatly. I think Ancelotti would still be here if Real Madrid had not come calling. I don't think he would have left for anyone else. Also, I think Duncan will have learned a lot from Ancelotti. So we did get some benefits from his stay.
You are right with DCL, I've been unfair there - he changed his game completely.

Tom Davies...I still don't see it yet. Holgate either tbh.

Branthwaite, Gordon, Kean ended up elsewhere anyway.

Nkonkou I forgot we had him for a while.

It's the first one in a while that he truly left us in the lurch though. Recent managers have announced they are leaving months before or been sacked (which you would like to think is done with some plan in mind.

Basically the snakey nature of Ancelotti has left us with a long term plan with no manager.

Ha ha can you imagine the reception Deschamps would get on here.

‘Never mind the fact he’s won everything, he plays 4CBs in defence and his football is worse than Allardyce’s, his xG is nowhere near Nuno…sorry Hassenh….sorry Graham Potter’s Brighton team. That’s who we should be getting’

The last 8 or 9 years you say?

1x Europa League
1x Coppa Italia
1x SuperCoppa Italiana
1x Championship

Championship with Newcastle and their budget is a nothing achievement

Europa League was 8 years ago

Coppa Italia was 7 years ago but fair enough

The [Poor language removed] is the supercoppa? Is that the Italian charity shield? So

My big concern with Potter is the criticism thing joking aside he would need to develope a thick skin very quickly.
Our two most successful managers in my time Catterick and Kendall were subject to abuse from the fans but both came through it.
I have enjoyed watching Brighton play under Potter and it would be nice to enjoy watching a game again.
I would definitely take Potter over Rafael and Nuno and who knows he may be ready to step up.

It would be a high risk move but would prefer it to the likes of Rafael and co.

I went to watch decent football.
