is the Benitez hate purely because he called us a small club? Seriously who cares?
I'm not even that bothered about that, Moyes's plucky underdog schtick drove me nuts too.
If I think of Benitez I just get this image of idiots with a framed picture of him, venerating him marching along some street with streamers hanging off it.
I never bought Phil Neville as a captain as I knew deep down he was a United lad. Same for Benitez, he can say what he wants but he'll never be one of us when it comes to taking on that lot.
Then you look at his recent record in China and with the bar codes, sure they love him because he got them out of the championship. Something Chris Hughton is good at, should we hire him?
If he does bad It will be a bunch of my mates slagging me about agent "Rafael" (and I hate the way he's "Rafael" like he's everyones buddy), if we win, they'll all be smarmy about how lucky we are to have a liverpool great.
But most of all I'm disappointed that the club seem to have no interest in listening to the fans.

…if the Benitez link is true, I think it’s lots to do with a period of stability during the stadium build. After so much coming & going in recent times, Moshiri wants a safe pair of hands & Benitez is a safe pair of hands.

I do, however, feel we are losing our self-respect employing a manager who publicly belittled us in the past.

If you want to create stability you don't chuck a ticking time bomb into the room.

Is this actually happening then? Whats going on? Or has some twitter crank just opened their mouth and people have lost their minds?
