Rafael is not who I'd choose. But I am well past the point where I would place playing good football above winning a trophy. It's been 26 years. I don't care how we win something.
Fair does mate. I completely understand, especially when I see my son bleed blue and see us win sweet FA. But there are still some things that would make the trying business of being a Blue even worse for me than they are now and Rafael being manager is one of them for me personally.
Fingers crossed that somehow we get a break that lads like my son and you deserve and we get some silverware sooner rather than later.

Yeah. I was lucky enough to be at Wembley in 95 but it's a distant memory. My eldest is 10. I sometimes wonder if he'll ever see a trophy

So they trying to calm down the hardcore fans by keeping a legend at the club .
I can hear Davek's teeth grind from down here in Kent .
I love Dunc but if it means that be has to leave to accommodate another manager , See ya .
Rafael will keep Dunc on but probably have no input other than laying the cones out

And there it is the cosy Finch Farm cabal have protected their own at all costs, 100% the reason Nuno wasn’t offered it, the club will never change.
Considering the recent dismissal of Gattuso another Gestifute coach was over transfer problems, I am of the opinion that the fact that Santos also prefers to shop at the Mendes stable was probably more the stumbling block.

He will mate!!!! The gap between 1970 and 1984 was bad!
My dad went through 1939 to 1963 (17seasons I think excluding war) with relegation thrown in!!!! It is a disgrace we have gone so long but I still believe we will!!!
