It’s not baseless optimism but wilfully forgetting reality.
Again, for those goldfish amongst us….
ohh the 37 shots to 3 game
cheers Bobby

Unfortunately you are completely wrong.Open to being vaulted here...IF, IF Martinez was to be appointed and then backed with really good quality additions via Brands, we would finish 6/7th next season playing better footie than we have in years. Where we'd kick on from then is anyones guess.
Hope to god the bookies are as clueless as everyone else on this . On the plus side, at least I’ll be able to do other stuff this winter as I won’t be watching EFC if it is the FSW.

Exactly my point. Suggesting a manager who has the pick of players from an entire country most of whom in the case of Germany have extensive CL experience and that he could replicate that with our rag bag of a squad would be...lolOne could argue Martinez had little to do with taking probably one of the best generations in world football history top rankings.
And the West Ham game; 2-0 up, 10 mins to go, down to 10 men, brings on Niasse…I think RM was in charge when we were 2 up with not long to go at Chelsea. Rather than seeing the game out, we got caught on the break with our RB the furthest player up the pitch. It was suicide.
Needless to say, we failed to win.
That was so pathetic. Taking someone out and thinking we’d be happy about giving it all that with the badge like he’d done us a favour and not consigned us to more misery. So embarrassing that day.I always thought very little of Funes the Flop, but that was him at his absolute worst
Perhaps, but you can’t deny it’s pretty likely the club have gone for the pair of themNot true though is it, because if it was one of them would be here by now
it wont be Rafael. nuno will be appointed next week and the club will come out with 'he's been our number one priority since day one'If it's Rafael... I won't support it. I will support the team but it's a big big big mistake for me.
