Long ago, Evertonians were renowned as knowledgeable and savvy.... long ago
Yeah I know football is all about opinions but I’ve despaired over some of the stuff I’ve read in here recently.
Horrible manager shouts, people happy to sell our best players because we might be able to get someone younger in who might be better than them one day, people happy to sell our best players because of a perceived not caring from the player, people wanting to sell our best players in general, that mad man who says Sigurdsson is our best player and world class, and perhaps the weirdest one - people already losing their mind at the board based off Twitter accounts saying we’re going to do something which we’ve not done yet or made any official indication we’re going to do!

I still can't believe Galtier doesn't seem to be "the guy". Literally everything we need in a manager is in his CV. Like....how fn inept does our club have to be in order to figure out what they are doing does NOT work ffs!
Effing nuts this... Galtier should've been perched on top of everything waiting to go and pick the players he deems right...

Instead were having a 'gentleman's excuse me dance'....

Everton That!!!

Who should then
Conte should’ve been the main target but there’s a good chance he wants a ready made champions league team so Galtier should’ve been the second choice imo. I’ve said that pretty much since the start of the thread once I’d looked into Galtier in a bit more detail and didn’t just know him as the guy that won Ligue 1 with Lille.
Of the main rumours I’d prefer Nuno over the others because I’ve not seen what he can do at a bigger club… I’ve seen Martinez ruin us before, seen Benitez waste millions at Newcastle and still play horrible football (don’t believe the ‘they didn’t back him’ narrative) and I don’t think we should ever give anyone who’s never managed professionally aside from a few caretaker matches the top job.

Yeah Nice are now the second richest team in the french league

Very rich owner + French Riviera is a very attractive place for a manager, especially one who has only managed in France
The last team he bought got relegated.

Dont be expecting Nice to be throwing money around any time soon.

You might be disappointed when it is announced that Benitez is the man chosen and Duncan still here working with his thirteenth or fourteenth manager!!

Galtier ticks every box.

I know there's a contingent on here who regard themselves above us mere mortals...

Most rubbish shouts proclaim you divy fans don't attend games and are bedwetters, moshiri/kenwright/denise/brands know best.

Do you trust your own eyes, confidence, experience.

Allardyce, silva, both should never have been appointed, this was appointments against the grain

His next go tells us all what we are at, please do good mosh mate

Who should then

If it's not going to be a "Hollywood manager" I think we need to take a chance on someone who will take on this challenge with relish. Someone like Kendall in 81 or Moyes in 2002. Time served and is also a blue. But he's more ridiculed than Benitez it would seem (when you check the poll on here).
