young and hungry manager, reached a cup final last season......
Not so much although Nuno, Lampard and even Howe have their supporters. I don’t think anyone would fume if he was appointed, put it that way.Yes. I mean Palace are interesting as you've kind of stayed quite static in performance level, (the mid to high 40's in terms of points) but the amount required to stay up has got less and less.
I know Palace have put a lot of money into their academy and that would be a natural fit for Favre. He wouldn't be daunted by lots of older players leaving.
It's sort of what Everton have done ok on in the past too, though the pathways have become clogged of late but I would be happy with Favre for that reason too. The city has always been a decent recruiting ground for us and there aren't too many pro teams in and around the merseyside area. But we have almost moved away from it, which doesn't make a lot of sense.
I like Favre, he was very much in the 5 candidates I gave at the outset, but I also understand people's reticence too. I can imagine there wil be some mixed emotions from Palace, or not so much?
Have we spoke to Favre???I'd take Favre me, he'd play the kids and play attacking footy, much better than the defensive peddlers we've been linked with
Daytime drinking at Wrigley is always a joy. Glad you were able to experience itBaseball's a weird game. I was in Chicago for work so went to a Cubs game. I'd never so much as watched a game before going to the stadium so had no idea what was going on and even though our tickets had seat numbers on, apparently that doesn't mean anything. There were about a dozen of us so we had no chance of a seat and just stood on the concourse, where you could see the game fine tbf, right next to a bar and a hot dog stand. I was absolutely wrecked by the last inning. At this point nothing had happened, it was 1-1 (the yanks have the cheek to call footie boring), then all hell broke loose and the game finished 5-4 I think (I was very drunk at this point). We were then adopted by some Cubs fans and got plied with more beers out of the boot of someone's car in the parking lot.
TL; DR - I'd rather watch baseball on the telly than Everton managed by Benitez (on topic mods)
BOOOOooooo!Have Palace got many fans ?
Just trying to avoid the agony of a another Nuno. You want him cos we want him, when we don’t want him any more, nor do you. It’s like the Fourth Form school disco out there.lolThere’s some kind of weird #EvertonSayNoToFavre campaign on Twitter started by Palace fans to sabotage Farve to Everton
