…’playing the kids’ would be suicide if the kids aren’t good enough. He sounds exactly the wrong person if he plays the kids.
Favre playing with kids - dangerous talk in these times my friend....
Seriously I'd have Favre all day, or any manager with a brain bigger than his ego!

What has happened to Eddie Howe? A couple of years ago, was talked about as future England Boss. Took Bournemouth from minus 17 points with no money, in league 1 to the Premier. Including Championship winners. Then I think did pretty well with a tiny club, to stay there for a few seasons. Lets be honest Bournemouth were never going stay up forever. I know they went down but you can say he has gained experience from that as well.
Now he seems unemployable. Not saying he is right for us, but you'd think Championship and even maybe bottom half Premier league clubs would be wanting him.
Can only imagine he doesn’t Instil confidence in his interviews. He was close to taking over Celtic last month then that fell through, I’m not sure he was right for that job though. There must be a reason he still doesn’t have a job, maybe holding out for this one but I can’t see that. Palace would have been a good fit for him imo.

Did have at the zds cup final
Mad day that, they treated it like the actual cup final, their end was chocker, whilst ours was about half full,my only recollection is I think Bob the Pole equalising near the end of normal time(might be wrong here!!)then carnage in extra time, that Eric Young fella destroying anything that moved in Blue and Keown ending up like a latter day Terry Butcher,oh and they scored three to win 4-1:(lol

Wondering if there is anything in the Martinez rumours. I like the guy but I don't think a few years as Belgium manager has shown he's learned his lessons.

Always thought Martinez would work better under a DoF, but at the same time one of his biggest sins was not having the players fit enough imo. His Belgium team benefits from being held to high fitness standards at their clubs and Bobby M just has them playing the good footy.

What we need is a serial trophy winner who is used to managing under the microscope of a massive club, and who has experience of mixing it with the best in the Champions League…

… gentlemen, I give you Neil Lennon!
