So were Fulham, and Newcastle. We were just a soft touch at Goodison.
With Covid, and the money situation at a lot of big clubs, there has literally never been a better time for Everton to get in players who previously we wouldn't have been able to attract. In the highly unlikely event that Conte could be tempted, there would have to be a complete overhaul of the recruitment structure.
Transfer-wise, he's about as demanding a manager as there's ever been, and Brands is not capable of delivering what he'd want.
I’d like neither but at least lampard has some sort of managerial history to judge onNo more than Lampard would
Heart picking your managers gets you relegated, ask Newcastle fans.Voted for Conte
Head says Conte
Heart says Big Dunc
Please don't go for Nuno or Howe
On the fence about Moyes to be honest
Tony
Yeah but he's got a bit of magic about himOrphaned, locked under the stairs, went to boarding school
Bill is working on it.
Nope. If you are 20 do you really want to be told around by your grandfather? Plus he got his son in is luggage. England isnt North- Korea or what? Kim-In-Ancelotti!That's a tad ageist, no?
C'mon, thought Ev was a broad welcoming church.
I'd probably go Duncan over Lampard too. Knowing the club and it's traditions gives him a big plus, and in honesty he managed the 4 games we had very well. It was a different approach for each game, and his in game management was also very good.
The other thing with Duncan is, listen to how those around football speak about him. Alan Shearer, Roy Keane etc talk about him as having an aura about him that they admired. That gets you a long way, as someone like Gerrard is finding at Ibrox.
This isn't to say I want him, nor that he should get the job, but it's not disputable really.
I think there's a good manager in Lampard too, but I'm not convinced he would be the best we can get. Chelsea went backwards under him.
What’s Gary Rowett doing these days?
Wasn’t he an ex blue carving out a promising rep for himself?
Something happened to him?l that I can’t quite remember.
