If Moshiri had any kind of conviction about Benitez and had any balls in his decision he’d have appointed him by now. We’re stringing him along waiting for someone else to pop up. He’s clearly the wrong man and everybody knows it, we’re only onto a loser if he’s appointed.
He's trying to let the fume die down but it won't really. First loss it's fume city

Still not convinced his appointment is as imminent as we may think,
It remains unlikely that Everton board are briefing journalists with running reports on who is the current ‘Front runner’ , all such reports probably emanate from the prospective managers camp and are heavily embroidered by journalists.
Despite being a supposed front runner for some time now , (as indeed was Santos before him), he is still waiting which strongly suggests we have continued interviewing other candidates.
Not saying he won’t be appointed , just don’t think it’s been as close as many have supposed.
I must say it is weird Nuno, Galtier or Potter haven't been ruled out really...if it's that nailed on.

I genuinely have to wonder what makes anything is going to be different next year when Benitez is sacked and we're back to square 1? We STILL are going to be having interviews with the nothing "PREMIER LEAGUE EXPERIENCE" crowd, we're STILL going to be ignoring anyone else because that's fn Everton. Maybe the German merry-go-round will hold off until after the season ends next year?

Just a shambles of a club everywhere...

Was watching a pretty dejected Ped on Toffee Tv earlier - says the club has no soul anymore and the board is filled with Evertonians like Kenwright and Denise who are just happy to be at the club they love and haven't the balls to tell Moshiri he isn't a football man.

Hard to disagree really
