The questionable part for me is the isolation. Being in the sports industry, he wouldn't have to quarantine. Not sure how the rules apply being on a private yacht either. Considering he was only on it for a couple of days.

He was also said to have had a video conference with Moshiri, Brands, Kenwright and Usmanov on Monday. The contract is apparently signed and should be announced in 48 hours, that would mean today is the day.

Also heard Friday.

I'm not saying you are wrong as frankly I have no idea but you do seem to be hedging your bets really.

On a yacht but maybe not on a yacht. Meeting nobody to meeting everybody. Contract signed and announced with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for definite but maybe actually Friday. I'm not sure what to make of this.

I have no idea what's happening now. I can imagine the club wont want to start a new managerial search at this point. I also think it's very odd it hasnt been announced if everything is signed.

I strongly suspect its Usmanovs choice as has been quite widely reported/suggested.

Considering Ancelotti was appointed by Usmanov I agree.

I only really believe Usmanov started to get more involved with us from when he left Arsenal - he did that Forbes interview saying he would like to get involved with EFC if Moshiri asks him then weeks later he meets with Ancelotti and we appoint him...

Yes mate - I've said it before I luv Everton Football Club not whoever the manager or players are.

Lukaku was the only Everton player I've genuinely luved and terms of manager probably Moyes as I largely grew up under him.

The likes of Ancelotti, DCL whomever can come or go as far as im concerned I have no bond to any of them these days including Benitez if he comes.

Same, wish I was born 20 years earlier and see a team that represented the club and didn’t just play for the money.
I’ve loved a few more players than just Lukaku but more for embodying our spirit on the pitch than quality - give me a team of prime Coleman and Cahill types any day.

Sorry I don't know the rules of isolation for travelling by private helicopter to land on a super yacht in isolation when you've tested negative.
