I cant believe people are still going on like this.
Maybe you are right, probably are, but in the real world, the world in which all this is happening the fans will not give him a chance.
"What if he does this..." "We should think like this..." "Not everyone hates him..." etc etc
It's all just words. The cold hard facts (ees fax) are that none of this matters because he will none of these things are going to happen. I find the ego of some people who think that because they are OK with it that means that everyone has to be and indeed will be OK with it to be staggering.
People need a massive dose of realism. It would be an utterly ridiculous appointment purely because it is.

Absolutely.
I actually think there is something in what the "give Benitez a chance" people are saying in principle. But we don't live in a world with principle.
So many words said about such a simple prospect.
If Benitez is made Everton manager there will be absolute bedlam.
That is all anyone should be caring about. No what ifs or anything like that. This is exactly what will happen.
I honestly don't even think he would learn anything by that happening. "Oh well, it happens to all teams".
Hope that 'if' we go for Benitez, he'll stay for at least 3 years. That way it will give Steven Gerrard time to gain some more experience, before taking over.
