He was born in Berlin - so he's as good as. His reputation took a battering at Bayern, though. His record wasn't bad, but there was always a sense that he wasn't quite big enough for the job. He's clearly a talented coach, but Bayern need a trophy trainer not just a fella who wins them. Nagelsmann could have his work cut out there, but as he is the "next big thing", they are pleased they have him...for now.
