What gets me more is people focus on that comment, instead of being upset our cowardly manager didn't send his team out with the intent to batter their biggest rivals off the park and win.
Yeah you're dead right there mate. Our fans have famously never criticised the approach of David Moyes, and often petition the club to change our motto to 'taking knives to gunfights' in his honour.

Still on target for an August announcement then I see. It's like cancelling a trip to the dentist this, you still have to go in the end.

Coaching and managing are two totally different things. Not every coach will want to be a manager, in the same way that not every barman wants to be a publican. It's a weird thing to have a go at people for.
No but I'd rather have ones who do want to be a manager, gives that bit extra of a drive to succeed. In my opinion.

Right.

I'm not sure if you're part of Benitez's entourage/media, a minion adjoined to them or even from the club trying in vain to soften the blow that the FSW is joining us - but it's not working now, and it won't work in the future.

We don't want him at our club. Get that into your head, and tell whoever it is you're reporting to exactly that.

Thanks.

Repeated is more than once. So he has been repeatedly sacked as 3 times is more than once.

Valencia- fell out with owner so resigned and then joined Liverpool only 2 weeks later.
Chelsea - interim manager and untenable despite winning europa league as backlash from fans. He didn't even join in the lap of honour which he surely would have if as you say, "all the fans respected him more".
Napoli - fair enough.
Newcastle - fell out with owners so untenable.
Dalian - left by mutual consent after scraping relegation survival by playoff. Believe his stated reasons if you want but usually mutual consent is to save face for the manager.

Also, you still haven't given a time for today when you know so much about it.

Ah ok so when Benitez was appointed Chelsea had 24 points from 12 games. I make that 2 points per game. By the end of the season they had 75 points so had secured 51 points from 26 games. I make that 1.96 ppg.

So 2 is a bigger number than 1.96 isn't it? Don't waste my time, and everyone else's on here lying. Have a bit of integrity eh?

You do realise that RDM took over the season before don't you? You do realise there are also cup games as well no?

….it doesn’t really matter to me if he’s good or he’s bad, what matters is the club is apparently courting a manager who once publicly belittled & disrespected us.

i actually expect him to be ok, but he still shouldn’t be a consideration.
