Right.

I'm not sure if you're part of Benitez's entourage/media, a minion adjoined to them or even from the club trying in vain to soften the blow that the FSW is joining us - but it's not working now, and it won't work in the future.

We don't want him at our club. Get that into your head, and tell whoever it is you're reporting to exactly that.

Thanks.

Some don't.
Some do.
Some aren't arsed.

Duncan is kept on because he is a get out of jail card if they sack a manager he can step in interim it's clear they will never actually give him the job full time

mate it’s been tomorrow all effin week

Same, it's depressing to feel like that about something that has been a big part of my life for the best part of 40 years. For all of the PR about Everton being a family club, and I do appreciate how much EITC does in the local community, I've never felt further away from the club emotionally than I do right now. It may have something to do with not being able to go to the game because of the various lockdowns and when it was allowed last year I started going to my local non-league team with my son and I really enjoyed the community feel and lack of sponsors/weird kick off times for TV/millionaire bellends who stroll around the pitch like they can't be arsed. I rarely watch football that doesn't involve Everton on the telly now (I used to watch a lot) and I doubt I'll be tuning in too often for the dirge Benitez-ball that will be served up. The Moshiri era has sucked all of the joy out of supporting Everton. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose, he just doesn't understand what the club means/meant to us and most likely he doesn't care. Benitez is just another symptom of that.
I’ll echo all of that and I’ll add that I just can’t deal with the monotony! We’re at the point now where we’ve been able to predict how the season is going to go with almost complete certainty before it’s even begun! Nobody would continue to watch a TV programme this boring or continue to do an activity this mind numbing. People can call me a piss poor blue and maybe I am but the long and short of it is that I’m just bored of Everton and I’m bored of the sport.

Our last hope is that he chokes on a rogue piece of calamari when he sits down for tapas this afternoon.

Hate Everton right now, this club disgusts me. 100% hope they are bottom end of September.

I can’t say I blame you but I just can’t share that opinion , all this honestly just turns my stomach though . It’s all feels so grubby and pathetic

For sure Nuno will bring in a lot of Mendes players. Which is what Levy is attracted to.

For us though, we have Brands finding players.

Rafael also has a very good eye for talent. We will probably get an influx in African and South American players.

I have already posted a link that completely smashes this myth to pieces.

Signing Fernando Torres from massive club Atletico Madrid after scoring loads of goals for them is not having an eye for talent.

That's just seeing a good player and saying "he is a good player". All of us can do that.

Well most of us anyway...(eyes DCL thread)

Repeated is more than once. So he has been repeatedly sacked as 3 times is more than once.

Valencia- fell out with owner so resigned and then joined Liverpool only 2 weeks later.
Chelsea - interim manager and untenable despite winning europa league as backlash from fans. He didn't even join in the lap of honour which he surely would have if as you say, "all the fans respected him more".
Napoli - fair enough.
Newcastle - fell out with owners so untenable.
Dalian - left by mutual consent after scraping relegation survival by playoff. Believe his stated reasons if you want but usually mutual consent is to save face for the manager.

You do realise he is still an ambassador and advisor for Dalian, as part of them allowing him to end his contract early, he agreed to stay on and over look the club for the future.

He fell out with Mike Ashley when they were in the championship and stayed on for another 2 seasons.

I said Chelsea fans respect him more now than they did back then.

Left Valencia after winning 2 la ligas and a Europa League in 3 seasons. They didn't sign the players he wanted. At that point he was arguably one of the best managers in Europe. You can't use that as a stick to beat him with.

No but I'd rather have ones who do want to be a manager, gives that bit extra of a drive to succeed. In my opinion.
I don't really see how. As long as you've got the drive to be the best you can be at your own job, I don't really see why you should need to want a different job. It's a bit of a pet hate of mine really, it's a tory driven attitude 'look, everyone can be a millionaire like me, you just have to really want it and work extraordinarily hard and you'll move through the ranks no problem.'
