This is just not true.

Davies Coleman and Siggurdson would not have many if any premier league takers, if they did they’d be lower bottom half teams. Same as Keane.

Any half decent manager would get us mid table? Koeman and Silva had us in relegation trouble and one of the best managers of all time had us tenth.

People need to stop over estimating this squad. Most of these are not good players and there’s a few very good ones dragging them up.
Koeman and especially Silva are not half decent managers.

Davies and Sigurdsson are not first choice players for us if everyone is fit so you can only compare them to what the rest of the league have in reserve. Coleman is first choice but will almost certainly be replaced this summer

Keane was very good under Ancelloti and would have lots of clubs happy to play him. You are under estimating how poor the league really is.

The team itself needs an injection of quality and pace but the Moshiri will back the new manager. He will also pay the manager top wages. Let’s aim higher rather for settling for somebody

Mate if you're offended by a bit of spray paint on a wall then you're a lost cause. Acting billy big balls online cause some lads have made their feelings very clear to the board that Rafael isn't welcome.
I'm not acting billy big balls. I'm disgusted that people think it's ok to spray paint on the stadium.

If the role of a manager is to get under the skin of your opponents, the fact that there are hordes of Everton fans still upset at being called a small club in 2007 (fifteen years ago) shows that in that respect at least, he's good at what he does.

Don't disagree with the point being made at all, and yes, I've pumped thousands upon thousands into Everton over my life but the idea of scrawling over Goodison's walls just doesn't sit right with me, like, at all.

If lads want to scrawl "Fu** Rafael" all over their Ma's bloomers and hang them on the Park End fence then fine, whatever. Spraying the walls just doesn't sit right though for me and many others.

It's done now, I'll just get back to tutting loudly at my laptop.

Fair enough mate. I see it as disgruntle fans who feel disenfranchised with the club they too, have pumped thousands of their own money into.

The club released a damning statement on the betrayal of fans for the Super League:

"Six clubs taking for granted and even betraying the majority of football supporters across our country and beyond."

Sounds awfully familiar with how a lot of blues think about them hiring Benitez.

I can see no logical reason to not announce FSW if we have actually appointed him.
It’s in the clubs interest to get the manager in place as soon as possible , there is absolutely nothing tangible to be gained by deferring it , there’s going to be a backlash whenever they announce it.
The quarantine reason is laughable, all based on an uncorroborated rumour of a secret assignation onboard a luxury yacht off Sardinia. How did he get there unnoticed? Did he embark on a high powered Russian sub in the Mersey estuary ,by Moonlight?
He could have just used Zoom.
In any case every day he remains unsigned and unannounced gives me hope we will get a proper manager.
Hope springs eternal, until it’s dashed of course.

If I walked past someone spray painting on our ground I'd put their face through the floor and so would/should all true fans. It's disgusting. That's our stadium ffs.
Its our bloody club but they dont seem concerned about that! At least that person has got off his backside and done something. If that one thing brings this board to its senses i m all for it. I d gladly do it then if and when a different manager was appointed i d gladly pay for the removal of so called graffiti. Before covid i d missed 4 home games in 40 years and i love Goodison with a passion! I m sure tho that it can cope with a bit of paint daubed on it for the right cause. Apart from crying on here what action can we take. For all the reasons expressed on here this is just a stupid appointment. The pressure on both him AND the players will be immence from the start. I know we ve been down the younger managers path but i think we need to continue with that. At least they are hungry. Any manager we get is a risk but i doubt we d be in danger of relegation. I d give Potter a go. Keeping Brighton up is a feat in itself and they also played great football. A risk. Yes. A rist or the fat Spanish waiter. No contest. Paint away. Nobodies getting hurt and the " Old Lady" will forgive you. NSNO

What formation does Benitez actually play all jokes and fume aside?
Earlier in his career, he favoured a 4-2-3-1 with a back four that sat, a double pivot who sat in front of the back four. In the three he would have 1 winger, 1 holding wide player and a 10. Then he would have a target man upfront.

A pretty negative formation that led to defend with seven attack with three comments from Keys.

As usually happens as coaches get older, they become more cautious. He now prefers a 5-4-1 with a defensive 3 that sits with the full backs pushing on. A double pivot in front of the back four and two narrow wide players with a target man upfront.

To sum him up, make yourself hard to beat and hope to get something from a counter.

We are allowed our opinions. Mine is that whoever did it is a scumbag with no respect for the club. I don't think much for those defending it either.
