Apparently he’s on his fifth round of talks this weekend...what an absolute farce for a bloke nobody wants!!

Ridiculous that isn't it, what can he possibly be saying differently in meeting five that he never said in 3 or 4, and if it needs that many interviews to convince you then he's probably not the right man for the job

With all due respect, as a Moderator , don't you think that it would be better . if you waited for an announcement , before offering an opinion as a fan ?.
We have already had the absolute joke of vandalism today.
People need to get a grip.
Nobody knows what is going on. This is becoming a "virtual" judge and jury.
This is the most ridiculous post ever.
A moderators role is simply to make sure that there are no offensive words posted and that posts remain on topic.
A moderator does not have to subjugate their opinions.
Andy quite clearly is a passionate blue whose views on this Benitez nonsense appears to be very closely aligned with the vast majority on here.
You are an absolute fool if you think that fan's should just sit and patiently await the outcome of this farcical managerial search.

More bloody talks? Was expecting last nights embargo to say signed sealed and delivered.

this is a farce. 1) going after him in the first place and 2) dragging it on for endless weeks - he’s a out of contract manager, it’s utterly pathetic. He wants the job badly apparently, there is literally no excuse if the club wants to appoint him why it’s took so long!

this club is like the Truman show - it’s like a test we were all born into to see how long we would take to break.

There's a lot of hyperbole in this thread. The board and the owner of the club are trying to appoint a manager who will move the club forward and stabilise the situation following Ancelotti's unexpected departure. Benitez has a wealth of experience, and can manage the transition from the disastrous signings, through the mix of good, bad and indifferent that we currently have, and hopefully on to a better squad with more pace and a younger average age without jeopardising our Premier League status. It's not an exciting appointment but hopefully it will mean the next one can be.
Stabilise, words fail me.
