I'm not being horrible mate, but we finished 31 points clear of the drop zone last season, with over twice as many points as the side 18th. If we are anywhere near a relegation dogfight under the net manager, they will need to be removed. He has solid foundations to work upon.

We would have to get Sheffield United style points and if that was the case he would be gone by Christmas as would any other manager and a total mismanagement of the football team

Yep you're right your scenario is very on point with regards the football industry and manager demands.

It really is though. Managers want job security too. Particularly at the end of their career and if they get to be close to their families. Convince yourself otherwise if you wish.

you could well be right on that. But after nearly four years here, where are all the top young kids he was going to poach for us around Europe. I can't name one.

I agree mostly, he's brought in Braithwaite and Nkounkou but he literally has no say in the managerial appointment and they all hate playing kids anyway so no point signing any.

If he does well you will probably start to like him, if your that strong willed that you will never like him you will be in the minority as alot of fans are shallow, a few wins they will be loving him. I don’t really like or dislike him, yes he’s said a few things about us in the past, but that was a long while ago I can forgive and forget that.

He couldn't have had an easier start. He could very easily be top 3/4 after 6 games.

I'll still support Everton and want us to win, just as I did when Allardyce was manager. Whether I'll ever take to Raffa as manager I dont know. I didn't with Allardyce but he was only here 6 months.

Right now I just feel gutted.

don't they count? It's more difficult to bring up recent signings as his hands were tied at Newcastle. He was on the cusp of bringing in Bruno Fernandes for less than ten million, but thankfully MA stepped in and vetoed it. And he would have signed Barry before MON vetoed that deal.

I don't see how it wont if he doesn't hit the ground running he will be out the door sharpish maybe even before the end of the season, just a huge waste of time and money.

May be as reported with the 37 interviews he’s been working with Brands on recruitment already I really hope so
