Can’t understand that but like for the life of me, but each to their own.

Amazing the way you have unfoundedly attacked Leighton Baines on here over the years due being a “Judas” but you are willing now to take a guy like this into the club. Hypocrisy on extreme levels that pal.
That doesn't even warrant a reply.

The plan of the long drawn out appointment has clearly worked, it has completely worn people down to the point where the majority are now in a I don't care anymore place. One banner has people now 100% behind him. People who still argue against his appointment aren't in favour of that banner, the two aren't mutually exclusive in any way. It is sad to know though that it has only taken two weeks for a bom to completely wear down a fan base to the point that the majority now don't care that it is the fsw about to be made manager of EFC, sad days

Absolutely 100% correct. It is wildly ironic that several on here who see themselves as veteran campaigners have folded under the war of attrition in just over a month.

Erm - a death threat issued to him and his family gets him solidarity with any rational human being.

I will respect this man for coming here under this cloud and trying to do a job for us.

100% backing from me now.

Technically there is no actual "death threat" in there...

Just saying.

to clarify I don't think this reflects the majority of the Everton fanbase but it's still a stain to me. We can try to wave it away but the image of the banner has proper ruined my morning. Hope you are all right and it's fake because it would astound me to think someone will get death threats at their home over a game.

And that's your right to say.

I was grudgingly resigned to this appointment, now I actively want it.

…whilst we can’t condone such abysmal behaviour, it’s probably a very sad part of life to those in the public eye these days. Cowardly individuals behind anonymous threats on social media or banners at Goodison Park.

I dare say even Leighton Baines might have had a nasty message or two over the years.

"We know where you live" - so does the postman.

"Don't sign" - a request not to do so.

But for many, their S1 / S2 discs have just turned to jelly. How can this be? We still do not want the fat Kopite rat as our manager. It is easily possible to differentiate the two.

If Benitez says in the first presser he doesn't want these bedsheet wetting/graffiti'n kopites near goodison. Then by God he's a blue.

A
As mentioned elsewhere, as a ploy i dont see how more offensive this is than seeing banners at Goodison or planes flying overhead - because apart from the nonsense about knowing where people may or may not live, the sentiment is the same.

He should be nowhere near our club.
As much as I think the banners at Goodison is bellend behaviour, taking a banner to his family home essentially threatening him is a whole new level.
