Yeah, they're just telling him they know where he and his family live so they can send him a hamper for Christmas.
Maybe so but it is not an actual "death threat" is it?

It certainly needs to be called out and can not be condoned as it is massively out of order, but nobody benefits from over exaggerating it either. Its threatening absolutely, death threat though? No.

Realistically it's crap words on a crap bedsheet. The person who did it more than likely is not going to do a damned thing other than maybe create another banner. Doesn't make it remotely right and I am all for the person getting pulled up for it.

Adding a bit of hyperbole on top though to make it look even worse? Why?

We always win when its most unlikely or go on a run. Things never happen normally at Ev. There are many signs I keep picking up that this will end up a good appointment.

We have been unlikely to win anything for 25 years.

We have won nothing for 25 years.

Pretty much par for the course really.

That banner has probably backfired given how far over the line they've stepped

He'll get a bit more backing now, provided he's not swerving it last minute
Woe betide this club if that stunt has the effect desired by its maker.

It'll put a massive doubt in the mind of those in charge about the governance of the club and whether its worth being here or not.

And we'll end up with a reputation worse than the Kopites, but with no fawning media to cover it up.

It has to fail and Benitez has to sign now or we're on the slippery slope as a club.

So, if somebody put a banner to get you sacked at your place of work, that would be the same as somebody coming to your house with a mental statement basically saying that they will physically harm you if you don't resign.
you cannot compare an average individuals place of work with the 'par for the course' intensity of fan sentiment faced in the every day goings-on of a top flight football manager.

What's its meaning then....?
