Is there people out here defending death threats?

If you read through the thread of probably the last 20 pages, I’d say absolutely nobody has defended it.

In all honestly?

Someone doesn't want him as our manager and has written a poorly worded bedsheet banner thinking it looks a bit menacing.

It is shockingly crass and stupid. It is however not a death threat. If I received something like that I would be concerned but would assume someone is going to lash a brick through my window or something. (which is still bad obviously).

If it was a genuine death threat then it shouldn't be a case of just us talking about it on here and it should be getting looked into by the police.

Everyone know a banner likes that means a threat of violence against the person, at least, and possibly more. And it's that possibility is what matters here.

It's the use of threat to a family to intimidate them into doing or not doing something.

While i don't condone this embarrassing banner it shows the level of hate towards him. We can't go into the season with such a toxic atmosphere. Moshiri needs to rethink this decision

It is a crazy , nonsensical decision but if Moshiri changes his mind he will be seen to have bowed to the nutcase that made the threat and as @davek said the club really will be lost.

Unfortunately now it's a lose - lose situation.

A threat of violence is really bad as it is, we don't need to over egg it any more than that. We should only be interested in the facts.
