Because we are slowly morphing into Geordies and we can't even see it.

I dont want us loved by others but I also dont want us to become a banter club with a fanbase every home crowd just laughs/pitys when we rock up for an away day.

Agree with all of that.

Issue is, how do you separate the cheers for the team from not cheering for benitez? The owners will just see you as happy with all by cheering for it all.

Am assuming he will be introduced as manager at Southampton match. When Allardyce was introduced, there were some boos, some applause, but everyone sat near me |(myself included) just sat in silence. Think it will be the same again with Benitez

Going to a ground where they are well run, have an idea of how they want to play and execute around that and having them pity us? I'd pity us. We're a fn trainwreck.
