How Benitez does next season effects how Everton do - if Goodison becomes toxic we could go down.

If we go down - no new stadium.

Ergo get behind the club and wait until milk actually gets spilt before we start crying and turning the place nuclear before a ball has even been kicked.

A manager that relegated Newcastle and more recently finished 10th in the Chinese league and has done nothing of note for years is now the best we can get and we should be lucky that he we wants to come here, that is how a section of the fan base has now swung. The Liverpool connection is secondary in all this, because for me he's a has been and finished as a top level manager.

Whilst I am not necessarily a huge fan of Benitez, he’s still a coach who has won the champions league, europa league, trophies in Spain and Italy, the FA cup and been uefa manager of the year twice.
He took over Newcastle in March 2016 and they were already in 19th place, so you can hardly say that he got them relegated.
There are people on here who would have Moyes back before Benitez. Moyes…a man who got man united their worst finish for years, achieved nothing in Spain, and got Sunderland relegated. Oh, and who has won nothing in his career aside from a charity shield against a relegated Wigan side.
